Wedding Portraits and Adventures in Bama!

Well I've obviously dropped the ball in being good about posting.... things have been super busy as we get closer to the wedding and move date! I had my wedding portraits done down at the beach at Fort Macon and I had the BEST weekend with bridesmaid and dear friend Julie, my mom, and her mom Catherine. We knocked out all of my last minute appointments with the country club, the florist, the photographer, the chair rental place, and my hair and make up people. We picked out food and brainstormed ideas for our tables and bridal lunch etc. It was a great trip and got me really excited and ready for June! The picture day was very windy and cool but the photos turned out great and I am having a hard time picking out 1 to frame for the portrait.
My parents have been slowly moving back into their house which has been exciting and emotional! They are officially sleeping there now but with very little furniture or comforts that make a place feel like home. But I know over time it will start to feel like a home again! They are just so happy to be out of the hotel! It has been so nice to all eat dinner together again and watch little Jack run around the house and yard.
The entire family traveled to Auburn, Alabama for my cousin Shelby's wedding last weekend and it was nice to see everyone despite the very stormy weather. We got to dance and see cousins that we do not see very often... AND I got to see Jason, so that was the best part for me!
I applied for my first teaching job (that I have been able to find!) today. It is not in Savannah because they are not hiring right now due to a freeze, but it is in Beaufort, SC which is quite a little commute but right over the border. Who knows what happens next, but I am still out there searching! All of the other non-teaching jobs that I have applied for I have not heard back from.
Our RSVP's for the wedding have started rolling in this week and it feels like Christmas every day at my house! I love getting mail and it is so exciting to see who all is coming to the wedding! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone and have a great time together.

28 days of school left!
